OUR STORY

In 2020 a 911 dispatcher learned from a call of people sleeping in their cars in the Maple Grove area. She reached out to the MB community via Facebook and that is how we got started requesting items for these people in their cars. Here we are today in 2026 with 1.3K followers supporting our unhoused community and school district.

Please note we are not the typical charity. The people who we help do not need to “qualify” for our help. We are just neighbors helping neighbors in hopes to make Maple Grove and District 279 a better place to live for everyone. All are welcome here!

OUR VISION

We plan to develop the Connections by utilizing as many resources as possible so no one person or group is stretched too thin and those in need do not have to wait for the help. Ultimately, we hope to build relationships and help the residents of Maple Grove feel more connected and less alone in our busy, isolated, plugged in world.
